Multi-agent Intelligent Simulation Laboratory (MISL) Research Unit<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Multi-agent Intelligent Simulation Laboratory (MISL) Research Unit<\/strong> consists of lecturers, researchers, and students with diverse interests across various research areas, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision and image processing, pattern recognition, intelligent system, multi-agent system, computer simulation, game theory, resource allocation, logistic\/transportation, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MISL research unit<\/strong> focuses on two interrelated areas within artificial intelligence: intelligent systems and multi-agent systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHATTRAKUL SOMBATTHEERA, Ph.D.<\/strong>
Head of MISL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He received his Master degree in Information Technology from the University of Sydney, Australia. In 2010, he received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, Thailand. His research interests include multi-agent systems, game theory, resource allocation, logistic\/transportation, and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OLARIK SURINTA, Ph.D.<\/strong>
Program Director of Ph.D. Information Technology, Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, Thailand<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He received his MSc in Information Technology from King Mongkut\u2019s Institute of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand. He started his career in 2004 as a lecturer at the Department of Information Technology in the Faculty of Informatics at Mahasarakham University, Thailand. In 2016, he received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Groningen<\/a>, The Netherlands, after conducting research at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Engineering<\/a> (ALICE). His research interests include deep learning, machine learning, image and video classification, handwritten recognition, and image and video understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
